Armada and Alpine Initiatives present the AI JJ

Costa Mesa, CA – March 31, 2011 – Armada Skis today announced the release of the limited edition Alpine Initiatives (AI) JJ.

Duplicating the proven construction of Armada's flagship backcountry ski, the JJ, the AI JJ is unique in that the skis feature a hand-drawn, black-and-white graphic designed by Armada co-founder and AI founder, JP Auclair; and all profits from their sale will go to Alpine Initiatives to fund additional charitable work.

"Ever since launching Alpine Initiatives, I wanted to find a special way for Armada to become involved and support AI's vision," said Auclair. "I couldn't be more excited about this collaboration."

The limited, 60-pair offering of AI JJ's is now available for sale through the Armada Online Store in both the 175 and 185cm sizes. Adding to their exclusivity, each ski is signed and individually numbered by Auclair, ensuring their place as a rare collector's item for years to come.
