In October, we shared the news that Columbia’s Ski Bum Scholarship would return for its second year, boasting a prize package of truly epic proportions. Today, we’re dropping a quick reminder that the entry period is open, and runs through December 2. The first few submissions have already rolled in, so, if you haven’t yet begun to storyboard your winning video, now would be a great time to start.

As a refresher, one worthy winner (and a friend) receive the following package from Columbia:

– Round trip coach air travel for you and your “ski bum buddy”
– Three months paid rent for sweet condo in the heart of Whistler Village
– 2 Whistler Blackcomb season passes
– More Omni-Heat™ gear than you can shake at a yeti
– $100 a day to feed your faces
– 2 round trip shuttles from Vancouver to Whistler
– 2 public transit passes
– 2 GoPro cameras to help you create killer videos

How it works:

Applicants submit videos to skibumscholarship.com prior to the December 2 deadline. Between December 3 and December 8, folks can vote for their favorite video submissions—the more votes you receive, the more attention you’ll get from the crew at Columbia. Beginning on December 9, the staff at Columbia will review the videos; a winner will be announced anytime on or after December 17. Come the 25th of January, two lucky winners will be on the ground in Whistler, living the ultimate ski bum’s dream, all the way up until April 25.

Eligibility: Ski Bum Scholarship Program (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia and legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least the nineteen (19) years old at the time of entry (“Contestant”).
