ahlivv Team Girl Hannah Kearney Takes Lead in World Cup

Hannah Kearney took her second victory on the season last Thursday at Deer Valley. She started the day tied for first in the World Cup Moguls with Jennifer Heil of Canada. After taking fourth in the first run, Hannah nailed her 360 spin, and had the fastest time for the women. Hannah was then left to wait and see if Canadian skier Jennifer Heil would knock her into second. Heil had a tough fall on her second run, but was able to finish the run and end up 16th for the day, as the true competitor she is.

Hannah was joined on the podium by fellow American Michelle Roark and Austrian skier Margarita Marbler. Icy conditions made Thursday’s course a sheet of ice. But, luckily, Hannah grew up in Vermont, so she trains in these c onditions. Roark showed up with a 720 spin, securing her second place spot.

After winning the world cup in 2005, Hannah has battled injuries and worked really hard to get back to top condition. Go Hannah! We’re so proud she is part of the ahlivv Team.
