It just keeps coming down in Utah… Several resorts in the Wasatch range—Snowbird and Alta, for example—have received over six feet of snow in the past week and the collection of media we’ve seen over said week is just stupid-good. We received 8" of snow last night and we are expecting another 8" – 18" of light, fluffy Utah #powder in the next 48 hours. It's going to be an incredible week of skiing at #PowMow! Due to high winds last night and over 5 feet of snow during this past week, Paradise Lift, Cobabe Canyon, Lighting Ridge and Powder Country will have to be carefully controlled this morning. Expect mid to late openings for these areas. 4wd vehicles with good tires or chains are needed to get up Pow Mow road. Exposed. -25 degree windchill, spindrift, blasting gusts. A few hundred feet from here the couloir turned into a mess of dangerous wind slabs and ice. Not worth it.
