The SCOTT road show hit Breckenridge, Colorado from December 14 to 16, 2007. I met up with some of the SCOTT team and made some turns with Keri Herman. After a couple of days skiing and riding during the Snowboard Grand Prix I was able to calm her down enough to answer a few questions:
KK-
How is BRECK treating you these days????
KH-
Fantastic…Lots of activities to keep me busy, they took their athletes up last week for an early opening of Chair 6 on Peak 8, POW turns! WOOHOO. I have been training a lot in the park, and there is always something fun to do at night with my friends!
KK-
What’s next on your busy schedule????
KH-
I am going home to Minnesota for Xmas to see the family for 5 days, and I am really excited to spend the holidays with them. I didn’t get to last year so its going be a good time. Then I come back to BRECK and train until the US Open at Copper….
KK-
So do you want to explain to all the folks exactly how cool BRECK’s baby park is
KH-
Mini Shred is where it is at! The triple jump line/mini rhythm section is AWESOME, not to mention that you can hit the park then make it over to Mini shred via a pretty sweet river gap….
KK-
What are your goals for this year???
KH-
Really my only goals are to have fun, enjoy what I am doing, and make lots of friends along the way…
Keri has been getting it dialed at BRECK all early season, and it is really showing in her skiing, hot off a win in New Zealand, she is ready to rock for the season. After spending a couple days with her, it is obvious that Keri loves skiing and is all about having fun on the mountain.
