The close of the 2025 Freeride World Tour is right around the corner, but that’s no reason to be sad. We’ve still got two incredible competitions before us, the first of which, the YETI Xtreme Verbier, has just been confirmed for this Thursday, March 20. The event is set to go down at 9:45 AM local time, or 2:45 AM for our North American friends.

This is the first stop to occur after the 2025 cut, in which only the top 60% of riders advance to the remaining competitions. The Ski Women put on a highly talented showing at the most recent stop in Fieberbrunn, Austria despite challenging conditions. Still, former champions Ari Tricomi and Elisabeth Gerritzen did not make the cut.
The Ski Men’s field was canceled entirely due to fears of the large field skiing on the poor snowpack. The move saw mixed remarks from the community, and has led to the cut being judged based on existing standings as Marcus Goguen holds a commanding grip on the field. That being said, there are plenty of riders who are still gunning for the title.
With just two stops left, there’s no time to waste. Be sure to tune in this Thursday as the best of the best gun for the title!
