WELCOME TO THE 2008 ONLINE BUYER’S GUIDE
There was story on the Denver news this fall about a guy who camped out on the street for a week to guarantee his spot as first person into a giant Labor Day ski sale called Sniagrab, which is “bargains” spelled backwards. This dude took a week off work, and burned his vacation days in a camp chair on a dirty Denver sidewalk to save like $50 on last year’s ski pants. He’s an idiot, but I guess you gotta commend his dedication to the cause.
Personally, I’d rather read up on all the gear from the comfort of my desk with a cup of coffee / Red Bull / PBR sitting beside me and buy it online. But hey, that’s just me.
