Much to the delight of ski fans, and the chagrin of those still holding on to the last bit of summer, an early season snow storm hit the mountains of Colorado Sunday night and into Monday morning, dropping 3-6 inches of the white stuff on the high peaks. Keep snow dancing, this is just another indication that winter and ski season are near, but for now take a look at our photo gallery of the first snowfall for many Colorado resorts.
