The resort is holds numerous Freeride competitions every year because the terrain is just that good. The town its self has an incredible vibe as well, with so much. snow falling every year you can get literally stuck there for days on end and the locals have a enduring and welcoming demeanor about them make this small town feel like home.

Getting There

To reach Revelstoke, the nearest major airport is Kelowna International Airport (YLW), about a 2.5-hour drive away. Kelowna is serviced by direct flights from major Canadian and U.S. cities, including Vancouver, Calgary, and Seattle, with airlines like Air Canada, WestJet, and Alaska Airlines offering regular routes​. Alternatively, you can fly into Vancouver International Airport (YVR) or Calgary International Airport (YYC), which offer more flight options. From these airports, you can rent a car or take a shuttle to Revelstoke​. If you prefer not to drive, shuttle services like Revelstoke Shuttle offer transfers from major airports directly to the resort​. Visitors can also take a bus from Kelowna or nearby cities, though public transportation options are limited, and renting a car is often the most flexible option​.
Parking at Revelstoke Mountain Resort is relatively convenient, with ample space available at the base station. There are free parking lots, including gravel and grass parking areas, which can accommodate a large number of vehicles. These parking lots are just a short distance from the lifts, making it easy for visitors to get to the slopes quickly. The resort is located about 6 km from the town of Revelstoke, easily accessible via the Trans-Canada Highway​. For those who may arrive during peak times, it’s advised to arrive early to secure a spot, especially during busy weekends or holiday periods.
