Park City is known for its diverse lodging options, providing everything from ski-in/ski-out luxury resorts to hostels where you can snag a bed for under 20 bucks. This makes the incredibly large resort accessible to all age groups, whether you’re going there for vacation or chasing storms. Speaking of which, Park City averages 355 inches of snow per year, meaning powder days and storms are plentiful.

Getting There

Park City Mountain Resort is conveniently located just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), making it one of the most accessible ski destinations in the U.S. Major airlines such as Delta, Southwest, United, American, and Alaska Airlines provide direct flights to SLC from numerous cities across the U.S. and internationally.

Once at the airport, visitors have several transportation options. Renting a car is a popular choice for flexibility, with a quick and scenic drive via I-80 East to Park City. However, winter weather may require a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Alternatively, numerous shuttle services, like Snow Country Limousine or Canyon Transportation, offer reliable, door-to-door service to the resort. For eco-friendly or budget-conscious travelers, rideshare options such as Uber and Lyft are readily available, as are local bus services operated by Park City Transit. The short travel time and variety of options make getting to Park City hassle-free.
