Planning Your Trip

Breckenridge is known for its high-elevation skiing and five designated inbound peaks, which provide some of the best above-treeline skiing in Colorado. After skiing, take a stroll down Main Street, which is lined with colorful Victorian-style buildings and numerous places to grab a bite to eat.
Breckenridge Ski Resort, located in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, is easily accessible via Denver International Airport (DEN), about a 2-hour drive away.
Parking at Breckenridge Ski Resort can be challenging, especially during peak periods like weekends and holidays, but there are several options available. The main parking area is the North Gondola Lot and offers a ride to the base via gondola. This lot fills up quickly, especially on busy days, so arriving early is advised. There are also additional free lots such as the Airport Road Lot and Ice Rink Lot, though these require a short walk or shuttle ride to the slopes.
