K2 debuts its lineup of 2018-19 skis and boots

Hold on to your wallets, ladies and gentlemen, because K2 just released its lineup of skis and boots for the 2018-19 season. Harnessing the power of new technology, these boots and skis are manufactured to get rowdy at the resorts, go buck wild in the backcountry and everything in between. So sit up, fix your posture and feast your eyes on this platter of premium K2 products, below.

Frozen phalanges will be a thing of the past thanks to K2’s partnership with Therm-ic for its temperature-controlled boot collection. Powered by USB rechargeable batteries, heated liners are now available for the Recon 120, Luv 100, men’s BFC 100 and women’s BFC 90. With these liners, cold toes will never again be the reason to cut your day short.

You’re going to love the way the 2019 Luv boot feels, on your feet and on the mountain. Constructed using an all-new Powerlite shell, it’s no contest, this is one of the lightest weight alpine boots on the market. But like the feather-weight category in MMA, these boots pack a serious punch thanks to four different stiffnesses of TPU and optimized wall thickness, proving tough things can come in lightweight packages.

Ladies, the Luv It ski collection is made especially for you, no matter what kind of skier chick you are. Available in four widths to address the needs of female skiers of every level, type and size, K2 utilizes its Konic technology to keep the skis light, yet stable and powerful enough to stomp through any snow condition. Added bonus: these planks were designed in collaboration with the K2 Women’s Alliance, which is celebrating it’s 20th year.

Set your sights on K2’s premiere park ski, the Sight. Designed to meet the specific needs of park conditions–hard snow, big airs, big landings–the Sight can handle the abuse thanks to a bomb-proof construction of an aspen wood core, Twintech sidewalls and tip and tail rivets. It’s no wonder this is the ski of choice for Olympic Gold Medalist Joss Christensen and Birk Irving.

Make your mark all over the mountain in the K2 Marksman, part of the Factory Team line. Developed in collaboration with Sean Pettit and Pep Fujas to take you anywhere you want to go, this ski has no limits. The Double Barrel fir/aspen core makes it lively and responsive while the Twin Rocker camber profile makes for a surfy, fun ride. From throwing down in the park, ripping groomers and going off-piste, the Marksman will take you wherever you want to go.

K2 is setting a new standard for backcountry skis with this year’s lines of the Wayback and the Talkback. The weight of these two skis has been significantly reduced without compromising the coveted downhill performance thanks to a T3 TI-Spyne placed in the middle of the ski. Clicking into these bad boys you’ll forget you’re even wearing them on the uphill and remember why you’re wearing them on the downhill.
