The latest version of the Black Diamond Glidelite Mix takes the mohair/nylon blended climbing skin and adopts a new plush to balance grip and glide while also incorporating a Fluro-free DWR coating. It also employs a new STS tail that has 20 centimeters of adjustment and can be replaced in case of failure while in the mountains. The Black Diamond Glidelite Mix is designed for those that want the extra glide of mohair, but know that sometimes their approaches are action direct and need some nylon for the steep ascent.
