The Watea 98 is new to Fischer’s Watea line-up and was the company’s highest-scoring ski in the test. Unlike the company’s traditional skis, the Watea 98 has has early rise in the tip and tail. The Watea 98 slides into the middle of the Watea family and shines as the one ski to take everywhere. “This is the most stable and best-turning ski I’ve skied at the test yet,” one tester said. Fischer has done a great job making a versatile freeride ski with the Watea 98.
