Zero G Tour Pro W

Tecnica

$899.99

Last: 99 mm
Flex: 125
Weight: 1,290 g @ 26.5

Tecnica has completely revamped their Zero G line, taking it back to the drawing board to significantly improve both uphill and downhill performance for the year ahead. The new shell design incorporates Grilamid in the Quick-Instep, a heightened instep that reduces pressure on the foot, eases entry and exit, and improves overall comfort. The co-injected carbon and Grilamid cuff is light and strong for enhanced performance and the boot maintains Tecnica’s acclaimed CAS shell, known for its excellent fit and customizable properties that allow skiers to dial in their fit.

Of course, no backcountry boot is complete without an effective walk mode and Tecnica has completely redesigned this from the ground up. The new double-blocking mechanism is lighter, provides better ankle flexion and increases mobility by 10 percent. This is great for covering mileage in the backcountry and enhances the ski experience when making aggressive turns on the descent.

Complementing the double-blocking walk mechanism is a full-length, rockered Vibram touring sole that provides stability when the skin track ends and the boot pack begins. For the way down, Tecnica’s Power Frame, which increases the density of material in precise areas around the ankle rivet, significantly improves lateral stiffness without adding unnecessary bulk to the shell. And finally, a water-resistant and anatomically pre-shaped liner keeps your foot warm and comfortable during long days in the backcountry.
