Strafe Eden Jacket 2017-2018

The Eden Jacket packs a one-two knockout punch: It’s insulated and ultra-breathable. This is achieved thanks to the combination of three-layer, waterproof, breathable and highly stretchable Polartec Neoshell, 100 percent Polartec Alpha insulation (100 g in the body, 80 g in the sleeves and hood) and a nylon, air-permeable micro rip-stop liner. And there’s so much more to love: The jacket is fully seam-sealed and Strafe even opted for seamless shoulders to make it more pack-friendly. A Chamois fleece-lined collar and chin guard add a touch of comfort while mesh- lined underarm vents allow for a cool breeze when needed. A thoughtful story comes with the jacket, too: In a nod to Strafe’s birthplace and home base, the jacket is named for the once-secret and permanently closed powder stash in Olympic Bowl, at Aspen Highlands. The Eden zone opened to the public in early 2016 to much applause.
