From the Editors of Freeskier:

Atomic skiers Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Dana Flahr needed a hard-charging, directional powder ski, and their wish was granted with the Automatic. One tester compared it to “a sports car on autopilot.” Testers commended its minimal tip flop even with its rocker profile. Also, in the rockered area of the tip and tail, small metal stringers stabilize the ride, no matter the speed. And your tails won’t wash out, as the tail rocker is about half that found in the tips. It’s the a great compromise between the freestyle-geared Bent Chetler and the Atlas, now marketed as a backcountry ski.
