Nordica La Niña skis – 2015
The sister to the popular Patron, the Nordica La Niña skis were a favorite for a few of our testers. Designed with weight savings in mind, the core is comprised of poplar and ash with PU stringers. “Super fun, easy to ski and playful without feeling unstable,” said one tester. The ski has a generous amount of rocker in the tip and tail, but it retains a low profile to maximize edge contact and reduce some of the vibration associated with rocker. Camber underfoot combines with the rocker to produce a ski that is “hard chargin’ yet playful and spunky through the trees.”
