Line Mr. Pollard’s Opus Ski – 2014
Eric Pollard’s masterpiece returns unchanged this year because frankly, there was nothing wrong with it. Along with some schnazzy new artwork by the man himself, the MPO has maple stringers that are surrounded by aspen for a solid feel under your foot. Early rise in the tip and tail is complemented by a thick base and edge underfoot that tapers off for reduced swing weight. The skis were described by one person as you would describe Pollard’s skiing, “Slashy, turny, surfy and fun.”
