K2 PETTITOR REVIEW — 2017
Much like the pow-surfin’, cliff-jumpin’ jokester Sean Pettit, the Pettitor is an absolute legend in the skiing community. We’re psyched to see this pro model back for another year. It’s a rockered out, medium-flex ski, built for people like Sean who ski pow on the reg and tend to boost off everything in sight. Tapered tips and tails lend themselves to smooth turn initiation and execution, directing energy underfoot and away from tips to reduce chatter. Meanwhile, durable sidewalls hold up strong against high-impact landings and nasty crashes—but obviously you don’t ever experience the latter. “Super surfy yet reactive,” reflected a happy tester. “Easy to hold a turn for as wide as it is.”
*Ski dimensions are for the 179.
