The new K2 Mindbender 140 is the one of the stiffest, touring-enabled boots K2 has ever made and utilizes the efficiency of BOA in both the shell and heat-moldable liner to harness the boot’s full potential. When stepping in, a super-soft TPU material on the Fastfit instep enables quick and easy entry, no matter the temperature. Inside the shell, the Intuition PowerFit Wrap BOA liner levels up Intuition’s tried-and-true Power Wrap liner with an adjustable dial on the top that cinches snugly around your leg. Straddling the line between a lightweight touring option and a hard-charging resort boot, the Powerlite Shell is K2’s highest-performance design and uses varying thickness, along with four different types of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) to ensure the highest level of responsiveness. The second BOA fit system, on the lower shell, combines lightweight laces and low-friction guides that are actuated by a micro-adjustable dial and engineered to enhance responsiveness while reducing pressure points.
