Our testers were highly impressed by the completely redesigned 2015-16 Fischer Ranger 108 Ti Skis. “This ski oozes confi dence,” said one tester, “[it’s] a beauty that tears up trenches and boosts over rollers.” A beefed-up 108 mm waist width promotes stability and fl oat in soft snow, but the real upgrade here is the weight reduction. A full carbon nose and a specially milled poplar and beech wood core aid in shedding weight while dual titanium inserts around the binding ensure the Ranger remains stable in all conditions. One individual claimed the Ranger 108 Ti was “the best all-around ski in the test.” It’s no wonder this ski sits near the top of this category.
