Fischer Nightstick skis – 2015

It was upon the Fischer Nightstick skis that Joss Christensen took home Olympic slopestyle gold in Sochi this past winter. In its second year of production, the fully symmetrical stick has earned its second straight editors’ pick designation. A beech and poplar wood core provides stability without sacrificing pop and liveliness, while sandwich sidewall construction with a layer of Titanal underfoot increases durability. One tester commented that the skis were “super quick from edge to edge and very fun on rails,” while another noted the “minimal amount of swing weight” and felt that they were “super playful without being too soft.”
