Blizzard Spur skis – 2015
Boasting a 125-mm footprint, tip and tail rocker and zero camber underfoot, the Blizzard Spur is a pow huntin’ machine. Sure, it’s beefy, but thanks to carbon in the tip and tail, testers celebrated this ski for its lightness and surprising nimbleness. “For how big this ski is, it’s super fun and easy to turn,” said one. “Super light, stiff, floaty.” Variable snow? Fear not. “Love the way it plows through crud better than Scarface blows through a mountain of cocaine,” another tester noted. And while carving scores will always suffer for the fattest boards, a handful of testers noted it does just fine on the groomers, too.
