BLIZZARD SAMBA REVIEW — 2017
The Samba is a lively dance, and it’s fitting that Blizzard’s 98-mm-waisted all-mountain ski bears the name. It utilizes poplar wood in its core for a solid balance of weight, dampening and pop, combined with beech wood for added stability. Blizzard rounds out the construction with unidirectional carbon (rather than bidirectional used in the unisex ski) implemented in the rockered areas of the ski for lightweight strengthening. The result is a highly nimble ride that will allow you carve, jump and slash your dance moves across the entirety of the resort. “Really responsive and easy to turn. Learn the Samba dance,” remarked one tester.
*Ski dimensions are for the 166.
