ARMADA BDOG REVIEW — 2017

Anything with Phil Casabon’s, a.k.a B-Dog’s, name on it garners the highest praise from the freeskiing community. No exception, here. This slightly wider, somewhat softer whip is the steeze-oozing Québécois’ pride and joy. It’s specially designed for appreciators of smooth style and reliable performance on jumps and jibs alike. Rockered tips and tails allow for smeary good times. A medium flex combines with forgiving poplar and dense ash for an incredibly playful ski that’ll still hold steady when necessary. Carbon and Kevlar aid in the stability, too. “Nice, big, buttery park sticks,” reflected one tester. “Rocker was surprisingly stable at speed. Also super poppy.”

*Ski dimensions are for the 179.
