ARMADA ARV 86 REVIEW — 2017

Top name pros, including Harlaut and Yater-Wallace, flock to Armada in part because of its rich, forward-thinking heritage but also because it produces damn good skis. Falling exactly into that classification is the all-new ARV 86. Equally adept all over the frontside as it is in the park, it utilizes slight rocker and a mega light core to increase maneuverability and pop off anything. Its tough sidewalls and bases aid in rail bashing and a slightly stiffer tail prevents gnarly blowouts on landings. “What a badass park ski. So playful and light without sacrificing anything in the stability department,” gushed one tester.

*Ski dimensions are for the 177.
