ARV 106

Armada

$875.00

Ski Lengths: 164, 172, 180, 188 cm
Turn Radius: 20 m @ 180 cm
Ski Dimensions: 125 - 106 - 132 mm

With a new shape and technology, the ARV 106 has been reborn for 2024-25. The fundamental change lies in the new poplar core, with an ash insert for added strength underfoot. Additionally, the ARV 106 has a new, proprietary w3dgewalll construction with a 3D-molded sidewall that’s angled into the core.
A hallmark of the ARV line, the 106 features a new, long and low rockered tip and tail, complemented by significant camber underfoot. Previous iterations of the ARV 106 were quite stiff, offering excellent stability and power transfer but limiting its ability to pop off side hits or dip into the park. This year, Armada seems to have found the ideal balance of performance and liveliness. This new flex pattern makes the ski ultra-versatile, with quick tail release and easy pop. The ski also features an oversized edge for better impact protection and torsional stiffness. At 106-mm underfoot, the ski shines in powder and remains stable on steep descents.
“The ARV 106’s camber profile makes it very playful and responsive,” noted one of our testers. “I felt confident sending in various conditions. From park laps and high-speed groomers to tight trees and pow stashes, the ski handled it all with ease.” With significant improvements over the previous build, the revamped ARV 106 is a daily driver for skiers out west who don’t want to sacrifice switch-skiing and butters, as well as skiers out east who want a balanced and larger park ski.
