If you’re on the hunt for a ski-friendly, pow-filled college experience, look no further than the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. There, you’ll find a plethora of badass rippers and endless terrain that’s hard to top anywhere else in North America. Many of those rippers comprise the UBC Freeride squadron, who recently competed in the World Ski & Snowboard Festival’s Intersection contest, which gives a handful of crews seven days at and around (within 100 km) Whistler Blackcomb to make five-to-seven-minute films with $10,000 on the line.

The Big Picture crew won the contest with some top-notch action from Parker White and Chris Logan, but UBC Freeride’s entry was impressive, nonetheless; from huge cliff drops to smooth park maneuvers, these kids (a whopping 40 of them are featured in the film) have proved themselves. So, whether you’re looking into college, or just reminiscing on your glory days of shotgunning beers in dorm rooms, we suggest you give these multi-talented students’ film a watch.
