Aspen, Colorado-based ski company High Society Freeride has announced the signing of local pro skier Matt Walker. The redheaded slopestyle aficionado first began his pro career riding with High Society and will now be heavily involved with research and development and marketing for the brand, including the creation of a pro model ski.

“Ten years ago, High Society was my first ski sponsor. The crew has supported me since day one. At this point in my career, I want to have a deeper relationship with a ski company. I want to partner with a brand where I will have a direct impact on ski creation, marketing and R&D,” explains Walker. “So, the time has come for me to return home to High Society. I’ve always admired HS’s dedication to quality, durability and staying true to the sport. I’m excited for our future endeavors and continue to work with a company that has always had my back.”
