The tenth annual Jon Olsson Invitational (JOI) kicks off Friday from Åre, Sweden. Wednesday, the big-air athletes invited to participate tested out the massive jump. Although the wind was a slight factor towards the end of the day, the skiers were still able to throw down above the city of Åre. This year’s event should be filled with massive, innovative tricks, and should be just another step in the progression of the sport of freeskiing.
