VERTICAL: 2,500 feet
ACREAGE: 1,500
SNOWFALL: 650 inches

With 880 inches of snowfall in 2009-10 and 2500 vertical feet of challenging terrain, Alyeska Resort lives up to Alaska’s “steep and deep” reputation. Alyeska is Alaska’s premier ski resort, located in the Chugach Mountain Range, just 40 miles south of Anchorage. Spring delivers the most daylight hours of all U.S. ski resorts, and favorable weather long into April makes Alyeska a great late season destination. Alyeska features wide open bowls, long top-to-bottom runs and plenty of powder. Experts love the North Face, featuring the longest-continuous double black diamond ski run in North America. Chugach Powder Guides offers helicopter and snowcat skiing and riding options right from the resort.

Special offers
The 10x Powder Pass is a flexible and convenient, transferable direct-to-lift pass good for 10 days of skiing for just $450. Best of all, there’s no risk: any unused days rollover to the next season.

Terrain Park Info
Alyeska opened AK’s first in-ground superpipe last season. The resort also has two terrain parks. But it’s Alaska: the mountain is your true terrain park, riddled with natural features.
