The Wells brothers have been on a tear, developing a reputation for their unique and mysterious edits. These short films boggle the brain with high-caliber skiing and surrealist undertones, combining stellar editing, shot selection, cutaways and more to form a piece of art that is both rare and exciting. Prime examples of this can be found in previous projects “The Underbelly,” “Bracket Creep” and “Hiatus.”

Straying from the normal formula yields great results for these New Zealanders. “Protection Racket” delivers on a smiliar level as it documents this winter at Cardrona Alpine Resort and The Remarkables. Featuring Kai Mahler, Quinn Wolferman, Finn Bilous, SuperUnknown 21 champion Felix Klein and a host of other freestyle gurus, this one is nothing short of fantastic.
