Snowbird and Woodward join forces for the first time

It’s hard to believe Woodward and Snowbird have never joined forces but the good news is, we no longer have to wait. With over 600 inches of snowfall so far this season, Snowbird will play host to a Woodward Mountain Park experience, concluding with the invite-only Woodward Peace Park Championships. The Woodward Mountain Park will consist of small- to medium-sized terrain park features located off Baldy Express in Mineral Basin from April 14 through at least May 7.

Woodward Park City is hosting a public Knuckle Huck competition

Woodward continues to innovate and this iteration is for the kids who love watching the X Games Knuckle Huck competition. Open to the public, skiers and snowboarders can put down their most creative Knuckle Huck tricks for Woodward’s public Knuckle Huck competition this Sunday, March 26!

The skies went blue for the fourth stop of the 2023 Freeride World Tour in Fieberbrunn, Austria

After a 48 hour weather delay, the Austrian skies went blue and the fourth stop of the 2023 Freeride World Tour was a go on Thursday, March 16th! Alex Pollard took home gold for ski men and Ariana Tricomi made an epic, winning comeback. Click here for the full recap and photo gallery.

Lake Tahoe hits new snow record

With over 700 inches of snowfall just at Sugar Bowl Resort, the 2022-23 season has officially become the snowiest season on record for all of Lake Tahoe. Following two-plus weeks of storms that dropped over 15 FEET of snow—you read that right—the record books have been updated.
