Telluride Helitrax is offering a supreme deal for Colorado skiers and riders looking to get some freshies this season. For the first time ever, the heli-skiing operation out of Telluride, Colorado is supplying helicopter ski trips from Denver, Colorado. Eager participants will fly out of Denver / Centennial Airport into Telluride Regional Airport for a weekend packed full of heli-skiing and damn good times in the mountains.

“We created this package to fill a void for skiers in Denver that are looking for something new or don’t have the time to take a helicopter skiing vacation in Alaska or British Columbia,” said Joe Shults, Director of Telluride Helitrax. “The package flexibility allows a varying demographic to experience heli-skiing and more in Telluride this winter.”

Pricing for the base package starts at $2,650 per person ($10,600 for a group of four) and includes:

– Private fixed-wing charter flight from Centennial Airport to Telluride Regional Airport.
– One day of helicopter skiing with Telluride Helitrax.
– One night of lodging at the Peaks Resort and Spa.
– Breakfast at the Peaks Resort and Spa.
– Access to Colorado’s largest spa at the Peaks Resort.
– Private fixed-wing charter flight from Telluride Regional Airport to Centennial Airport.

Telluride, Colorado — Telluride Helitrax, for the first time this winter, will offer helicopter skiing trips from Denver, Colorado. Avid skiers and snowboarders will be able to fly out of Denver / Centennial airport into Telluride Regional Airport for a weekend of heli-skiing and be back in Denver in time for work on Monday.

A sample itinerary will depart Denver early Saturday morning to arrive in Telluride in time for a full day of heli-skiing. A day of helicopter skiing includes six runs and approximately 10,000 – 14,000 vertical feet of skiing. The day ends with an après ski hosted by Helitrax. Sunday is considered a free day, but guests are encouraged to ski on Telluride Ski Resort or opt for a second day of heli-skiing. A typical return flight would depart Telluride Sunday afternoon to arrive in Denver before sunset.

The base package is catered to a weekend getaway, but the trip can become custom with add ons. Helitrax can simply add more days of helicopter skiing, accommodate longer trips and modify air travel for groups larger than four people.
