Two of our favorite companies, Field Productions and Sweet Protection, have teamed up on an unbelievably-cool contest: Sweet Line.
The premise is simple: Folks upload their top ski videos to the contest web page, where users will vote for their favorites. Then, the top 10 will be shown to a group of judges and narrowed down to three winners: Third place will get a Sweet Protection helmet; second place will receive a full Sweet Protection kit (helmet, jacket, pants); and first place will win a all-expenses-paid trip to ski in Norway with a friend. On this trip, the winner and his or her friend will get to shred with the Field Productions crew wherever the snow looks good and create a world-class edit. They’ll also get full kits from Sweet Protection to look as on-point as possible.
“There are a lot of talented skiers and riders out there, many of whom are becoming very proficient at shooting and editing video,” says Christian Erga, head of marketing for Sweet Protection. “This contest gives these individuals a platform to showcase their work and an opportunity to learn from and work with some of the best ski film producers in the industry.”
