We’ve teamed up with GoPro and Snowcial to give away $1,000 for the “best video moment.” From now until February 26, upload your best clip to our GoPro $1k Moment of Fame vimeo group and $1,000 could be yours for the taking.

The top entries will be shown during the 5th annual Snowcial event at Heavenly Mountain Resort in Lake Tahoe on February 28, 2013. During the showing, a judging panel will award the $1,000 prize to the best entry. The judging panel will consist of GoPro and Freeskier staff and they will be looking for the most epic moment caught on film. The videos do not need to be edited, they do not need sound tracks, they just need to be epic. The winner does not need to be present at Snowcial to win.

How To Enter:

1. Upload a 10-60 second clip of your claim to fame or epic moment to vimeo.
2. Title your video “GoPro $1k Moment of Fame: (Your Name Here)” along with a description of your video. Make sure to give us the story behind the video clip, it may help the judges pick your clip.
3. Join Freeskier Magazine’s vimeo group The GoPro $1k Moment of Fame and add your video to the mix.

Judging:

On February 28 during the 5th annual Snowcial event a panel of judges will pick the winner based on overall impression.

Prizes:

One will take home the $1,000 prize. Contestants do not need to be present at Snowcial during the announcement.
