Boom! Just like that, The North Face Park and Pipe Open Series is officially accepting submissions for its all-new Virtual Competition. Through the video submission portal, located at thenorthfaceppos.com, registered participants can now upload videos of their best slopestyle and halfpipe runs to compete against an open field of athletes. The North Face’s website also provides two graphics and twelve bitchin’ music track downloads for athletes to use in their video edits.
Participants of The North Face’s Park and Pipe Open Series 2015 Virtual Competition will battle for a chance to win incredible prizes including: a cash purse of $10,000, The North Face gear, GoPro cameras, the chance to film and ride with Tom Wallisch in his new project Good Company, and more.
“The North Face is deeply committed to the development and progression of freeskiing,” said The North Face Sports Marketing Director Katie Ramage. “We are excited to make the PPOS competition accessible to even more athletes anywhere in North America, and look forward to more on-slope competitions in future years.”

- February 23 – March 6: Public voting window
- March 7 – 13: Finalists announced
- March 16 – 22: Judging period
- March 24 – 28: Results announced
- March 25 – April 1: Prize giving
Registration for the competition is open from now through February 16, 2015 on thenorthfaceppos.com, but capacity is limited. Athletes must be 12-years of age or older to register.
