Burgess Custom Outerwear

Burgess Custom is a technical outerwear company based in Victor, Idaho–just a stones throw from the burly Teton Mountain Range where most of the product testing gets conducted. Now in its 10th year of operation, Burgess offers jackets, pants and an array of lifestyle clothing that are all produced between two facilities here in the USA.

The company specializes in two- and three-layer Gore Tex pants that are rated at a minimum 10K/15K waterproof/breathable with all the amenities you’ve come to expect from high-level manufactures: critical seam sealing, Cordura reinforcement, venting, multiple zipper options, adjustable waistbands and whatever amalgamation of pockets will suit your needs. In addition to custom design, sizing is a major selling point of this custom garb. For those people who just can’t seem to get the right fit off the rack, companies like Burgess are able to hit the mark. If softshell outerwear is more your style, you’ll be pleased to hear that Burgess has recently added pants and jackets of that variety to the lineup as well.

Stop by the storefront on Main St. in Victor to check out samples or head over to burgesscustom.com where you can choose from a number of different styles and over 30 different fabrics. Don’t see what you had in mind? Just fill out a quick form to get started on your very own creation. Sara Deutsch, founder and lead designer, will work with you from start to finish to ensure you walk away with exactly what you want.
