For the second consecutive year, Big Sky Resort is reporting record-breaking visitation numbers. The Montana resort comprised of 5,800 breathtaking skiable acres, attributes this growth to a variety of efforts made via the Big Sky 2025 plan, which aims to invest $150 million in mountain improvements between 2015 and 2025.
“Plans are underway now for the most modern lift network, trend-setting food and beverage improvements and intimate villages,” states the resort’s website. “Retaining and enhancing the character of Big Sky Resort’s welcoming warmth and vast terrain are paramount to delivering a truly singular experience among North American mountain resorts.”
Two new chairlifts, updated pass products including an April-only pass and an increase in non-stop flights to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport are a few of the factors Big Sky points to for this season’s success.
“These investments in the resort and the community continue to attract new guests from local and key destination markets,” says Big Sky Resort General Manager Taylor Middleton. “We see tremendous momentum going into the next winter season.”
