The men’s superpipe finals is just moments away from going down, so I’ve gotta make this quick so I can get back up on the hill.
The slopestyle contest today at the final stop of the Dew Tour went off as everyone’s favorite jibber, Tom Wallisch, landed his biggest victory in his career.
Rounding out the top three were Alexis Godbout (2nd) and Jossi Wells (3rd).
PK Hunder landed in around the 6th spot (we’re still waiting for the official results), which was enough to make him the Dew Tour slopestyle champion! Congrats, PK.
Men’s Top Three
1. Tom Wallisch
2. Alexis Godbout
3. Jossi Wells
*The rest of the results are on their way. Sorry for the delay.
The women’s “exhibition” event was really solid. Five competitors were invited to partake, and Kaya Turski took the top spot with rail trickery (switchup on the down box, 270 on/270 off the flat box) and her patented jump style. Michelle Parker took second, while Meg Olenick switchuped her way into third. Gillian McIver landed a sick rodeo 7 in her run, but it wasn’t enough to beat out Claudia Bouvier for the fourth spot.
Women’s Slopestyle Results
1. Kaya Turski
2. Michelle Parker
3. Meg Olenick
4. Claudia Bouvier
5. Gillian McIver
The rest of the results are on their way. Make sure you check out the men’s superpipe finals on TV tonight at midnight, Eastern Standard Time on USA Network.
