This event is free and open to all skiers and snowboarders. Music will be provided by Lotus Entertainment and there will be a bounty of prizes and giveaways for participants. Spectators on lawn chairs are welcome. It will take place on Spruce Mountain’s Main Street trail from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Competitors and spectators should park in the Sensation Lot at Spruce.
In New York’s New Windham Mountain is reopening on Saturday, May 24 to host a rail jam for die-hards. The event will be held on a pile of snow will be pushed and prodded into perfect position and will run from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. on the 24th. Because of the event’s location at the base of the mountain, no lifts will be running, but food and beverage operations will be open.
