Aspen Snowmass Classic Pass on sale this weekend

Aspen/Snowmass, Colo., October 4, 2011 – The Aspen/Snowmass Classic Pass will go on sale in various locations across the Front Range and Western Slope starting Saturday, October 8, 2011.  This weekend’s sale will take place at the REI Flagship Store at 1416 Platte Street in downtown Denver. Classic Pass sales will take place throughout October and November.  See schedule below for details.

Classic Passes – Ski or Ride for Less Than $50 per day – 4 and 7-Day Passes Available

4-day and 7-day Classic Passes are available this season.  Classic Passholders can ski or ride for less than $50 per day plus receive discounts on extension days and summer lift access with no restrictions or blackout dates.

At $199, the 4-Day Classic Pass gives passholders four days of skiing or snowboarding on any of the four area mountains – Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk – for less than $50/day throughout the winter season with no restrictions or blackout dates. At $329 the 7-Day Pass is an even better deal at just $47/day. Passholders can add additional days at great discounts.  Children and youths (ages 7-17) and college students age 24 or younger (presenting a student ID from an accredited 4-year college) can purchase a 4-Day pass for $164 and a 7-Day pass for $249.

Extension days are available at a discounted price which will vary throughout the 2011-2012 season ($34 – $79/day for Adult Passes and $19 – $49/day for Child/Youth & College Passes).

Classic Passholders will receive exclusive lodging offers throughout the winter season as well as discounted rates on summer lift access and bike haul fees.

Classic Passes are picture passes and all new passes must be purchased in person. Classic Passes will ONLY be available at select sales in Colorado. Resort Charge

Guests can attach a credit card to their season pass and never carry cash on the mountain again. With Resort charge season passes can be used like a credit card at mountain restaurants, Four Mountain Sports/D&E locations, and Aspen/Snowmass ticket offices. Resort charge plus direct-to-lift and hands-free gate access provides the ultimate hassle-free experience. Sign up at any ticket office. The pass will be available at locations throughout the Front Range, Grand Junction and in the Roaring Fork and Eagle Valleys.
