2009 Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour

That’s right, they are at it again. 2009 is here, and the Galvanic crew is packing up the Tour bus and hitting the open road to bring you round two of the Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour. New event locations, new partners, new features and some extra juicy surprises are all sure to help further your higher education experience and provide you with yet another reason to skip class.

In 2009, the Tour will be hauling in 20 tons of snow, along with rails, boxes, and bonks to 12 colleges in eight states to host urban rail jams open to amateur snowboarders and skiers. With three new custom features built by shred genius Tony Distrola from Eclipse Snow Park, the setup is gnarlier than ever and ready to be annihilated. Top that off with guest appearances from your favorite pros and a killer after party, and you’re in for more fun than late night streaking through the quad.

With support from Cricket Wireless, FUEL TV, Snowboarder Magazine, Freeskier Magazine, Red Bull, Omatic Snowboards, Boone Skis, Spyder and others, 2009 is going to be a year to go down in the books. The Tour is partnering with the UA Elevation Ski and Snowboard Club, to kick things off at the University of Arizona in Tucson on February 5th at 12:00pm in the UA Mall. Rumor is that UA is a party school, stay tuned to see if they can shred as hard as they party.

The Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour will be disrupting class through May, with the nation’s top shreds gunning for thousands of dollars in prizes. The five best in class from each stop will receive an invite to battle it out for a heavy cash purse at the Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour Finals in downtown Portland, Oregon on May 30th. The REELcomp.com crew will be on-site providing a live webcast of the event direct to www.campusrailjamtour.com so the whole fam can get in on the action. Registration for the Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour is open. To register for events and keep up with the Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour, check out www.campusrailjamtour.com and procrastinate for a while.

Be sure to keep an eye out for their neat new Tour bus and crew of polite young gentlemen at SIA 2009 and your local shred hill!
