As the biggest ski resort in North America, Whistler Blackcomb provides over 8,000 acres to explore across two mountains connected via one of the most epic gondola rides in the world. The Village is expansive, with lodging just feet away from the main gondola and there are plenty of places to stay in the surrounding area.

Getting There

Whistler Blackcomb is easily accessible from several major airports. The nearest airport is Vancouver International Airport (YVR), about 2.5 hours drive from the resort. YVR offers direct flights from most major North American cities. International flights from Europe and Asia also frequent YVR, making it a global gateway. Once at YVR, travelers can rent a car, take a shuttle or use Whistler’s resort-based bus services, such as the Whistler Shuttle or Pacific Coach Lines, which offer direct transfers from the airport. Alternatively, for a quicker option, private taxis or rideshare services are available.

Parking at Whistler Blackcomb offers several options, with both paid and free spaces available throughout the resort. For those aiming to park close to the village, Day Lots 1-3 are conveniently located, charging by the hour or full day. These lots are free after 5 pm, making them a good choice for evening visitors. Additional parking can be found at Day Lots 4 and 5, which offer lower rates. Creekside, a great alternative, offers a free underground parkade, though it can fill up on weekends.
