The Best of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
1. Hoops Gap: Also known as the Mushroom Chutes, this is a great spot to hit right after or during a big dump. Trees shield you from inclement weather and steep, pillow-laden terrain make it a blast to lap.
2. Stash Parks: Unique wooden features like wall rides, tree gaps and table tops are built into the mountain to create four badass playgrounds that mother nature shapes as she sees fit.
3. Crags: As the name implies, this is rugged and rocky terrain that fills in nicely to create chutes and pillows that will keep you entertained all day long. Being hike-to terrain, it also sees less traffic than some other zones.
4. Corbet’s Cabin: Sitting atop the 10,449 foot Rendezvous Mountain, Corbets serves the most delicious waffles you’ve ever put in your mouth hole and also serves as a great place to warm up on those chilly days.
5. Rendezvous Lodge: Sitting atop the Bridger Gondola, this building houses three separate restaurants that will satisfy any appetite or budget. Upstairs you’ll find a not-so-average cafeteria that offers a wide selection of Asian fusion, hot soups, fresh salads, and delicious sandwiches. Downstairs, the Off-Piste market offers an espresso bar, hot Sicilian pizza and grab-n-go items for when the snow is too good to sit down. And finally, Piste Mountain Bistro offers sit-down lunch and dinner (Thurs-Sat nights) in a casual atmosphere with a locally sourced menu full of delicious offerings that pair nicely with the full bar.
6. Cascade: The most direct and fun route from the top of the Bridger Gondola to the bottom of the Thunder Chair. You’re likely to find some shark fins up top during the early season but when the snow fills this aspect in it’s a hell of a line!
7. Saratoga Bowl: This can be a great spot for scoring quick pow laps in the morning when others are scrambling to get on the tram.
8. Alta Chutes: Steep, north-facing, inbounds chutes. Hard to beat that.
9. Thunder Lift: This high-speed quad accesses all sorts of good terrain and is shielded from some of the weather that hits the very top of the mountain.
