The Best of Mt. Bachelor

1. Best Lift to Lap: Cloudchaser — When everything else is skied out, the all new Cloudchaser lift will have the goods. View the new trail maps here.

2. Best Groomer Run: Cliffhanger — Swooping rollers and the wide layout make this the most lapable groomer on the mountain.

3. Best Park: The Point — From unique rail features to big ol’ jumps, The Point is where it’s at to impress your peeps.

4. Best On-Mountain Aprés Spot: Clearing Rock Bar — Located in West Village Lodge, this is the best place to go for a craft brew or a pounder to cap off the ski day.

5. Best On-Mountain Food Spot: Scapopo’s — Out of Pine Martin Lodge, Scapopo’s offers pizza, soup and sandwiches – it’s simple food.

6. Best Gnarly Terrain: The West Ridge — Send the cornice anywhere from five to 40 feet or just rip from the true summit through the Pinnacles on Mt. Bachelor’s steepest terrain.

7. Best Place to Ski on a Pow Day: Hike “The Cone” — If you’re up for the hike, the reward of fresh pow, lap after lap, is worth it. While it is technically in-bounds, the area is not patrolled, so ski with caution.

8. Best Tree Run: Northwest Chair — From open gullies and wind lips, to well-spaced tree skiing, to tight trees – every off-piste Northwest lap is a blast.
