Built for, and by, the Salomon freeride team, the NFX features two layers of rubber elastomer in the tip, tail and underfoot for extra shock absorption and durability. It also features a base specifically engineered for jibbing that employs a harder, more durable material along the edges with faster material in critical glide zones. “Excellent stomping capabilities,” said one tester. “You can feel the durability, and the pop is unreal.”
