Johnny Collinson’s pro model is the product of one-on-one collaboration between Black Diamond’s designers and the Utah-based athlete. A fixed lining with individual finger slots, 60 grams of Primaloft insulation and a waterproof BD.Dry provide the warmth in the Black Diamond Spark Johnny Mitt. For added protection while ripping big-mountain lines, the back of the hand and thumb are padded with EVA foam, and there’s a perforated leather patch on the index finger side of each palm for better durability.
