Breaking the mold in airbag technology, the Black Diamond Halo 28 features Black Diamond’s JetForce technology, which inflates a 200-liter bag via battery powered fan in 3.2 seconds, with top-off bursts occurring for 2.5 minutes to keep the bag inflated. There is enough power in the battery for four inflations, and the airbag auto-deflates after 3 minutes, allowing an air pocket to form to aid in survival.
